    Shoe Polish Stains

    Introduction

    The stain can be any color, oily in appearance, not stiff, and may appear as a smear or smudge. On upholstery it can usually be found along the lower front panel and on skirts/aprons.

     

    Procedure – 

    PASTE TYPE    Composed of waxes, resins, solvents, and oil-soluble dye. 

    LIQUID TYPE    Contains water, solvent, wax, shellac, dye pigment and alcohol.

     

    • Apply Avenge Pro & agitate to create foam to remove pigment suspended in foam.

    If stain is gone:

    • Rinse, then mist with Spot Stop

    If stain remains:

    • Apply All Solv Extreme
    • Agitate
    • Apply Avenge Pro
    • Rinse thoroughly, then mist with Spot Stop
    • Dry quickly with an Air Mover

    Type: Spotting Chemical

    Highlights: Moves stain into foam rather than adjacent fibers

     

    ALL SOLV EXTREME

    Type: Spotting Chemical 

    Highlights: Surfactant in the formula allows the product to rinse with water

     

    SPOT STOP

    Type: Spotting Chemical  

    Highlights: Lightly acidic pH neutralizes any alkaline residues
